Introducing the Two-Hour Mental Cleanse

River Rocks
Water is purifying for the body. Inquiry is purifying for the mind.

Byron Katie’s “New Year’s Mental Cleanse” Is One of my Favorite Workshops

At the end of every year, Byron Katie offers a four-day workshop called the The New Year’s Mental Cleanse. It involves about 30 hours of doing The Work with Katie in a big group over four days.

She commonly invites people to come up and do The Work one-on-one with her while everyone watches. This is where many of her famous YouTube videos have been recorded.

It’s a great chance to do a lot of The Work. And it is also a great way to observe a lot of The Work, and to learn from it.

Now You Can Have a Similar “Mental Cleanse” Experience from Home

Every month I will be holding a Two-Hour Mental Cleanse video teleconference. We will spend two full hours doing The Work together. We’ll write worksheets, and I’ll facilitate as many people as we have time for.

In keeping with the mini format, I’ll just be facilitating one or two concepts for each person. That way we should be able to see 4-5 people do The Work in two hours.

My hope is that this will serve people who are experienced in The Work as well as those who are new to The Work. Questions will also be allowed, but the focus will be on doing The Work.

This Is Another Option For Making The Work a Steady Practice

As you know, my focus as a facilitator is to support you to do The Work as meditation. And one aspect of any meditation is to make it a steady practice (whatever that means for you: daily, weekly, monthly, yearly).

I offer many programs to support doing this. The Two-Hour Mental Cleanse now allows you to experience and participate in two hours of The Work live every month for just $20.

The sessions will also be recorded, so you can re-experience them anytime. You can connect by phone (local numbers are available for many countries), or by internet using your browser. Video will also be supported.

I Learn A Lot By Watching Others Do The Work

Every time I watch someone else do The Work, I learn a ton.

And when I was new to The Work, I found that listening to and watching many recordings of The Work were key for me to gain momentum with The Work.

I look forward to learning with you during these Two-Hour Mental Cleanse workshops.

The first one is scheduled for Saturday, Nov 15 from 9-11 AM Pacific Time. I invite you to learn more about it and join us on the 15th.

Have a great weekend,
Todd

“Everyone learns The Work in their own way. Some learn the process primarily by watching how the dialogues unfold. (I encourage you to read them actively—looking inside yourself for your own answers as you read.) Others learn The Work strictly by doing it: inquiring into whatever is troubling them at the time, pen and paper in hand.” — Byron Katie, Loving What Is.
