New Upcoming Programs for Doing The Work

Vineyard by the Lake

I’m looking ahead this fall for new ways to support you in doing The Work.

My Job Is Facilitator

To me that means my job is to make it easier for you to do your work. The Work is still work. And I can’t do it for you. But I can hold a space for you to do your work.

As I look ahead over the next months, some ideas come to mind. But before I share them, let’s take a look at what’s available right now.

There Are Currently Many Ways to Do The Work

Here are the main ones I offer.

1. Private sessions by phone or Skype

2. Group sessions every week by video teleconference: Two-Hour Taste of The Work sessions

3. Online daily practice groups: Inquiry Circle forums (Slow-Cook Inquiry, Steady Pace Inquiry, Self-Paced Inquiry)

4. Private retreats doing The Work with me one-on-one in my home

In Addition, Byron Katie Offers Others

Here are the main ways to do The Work that Byron Katie offers:

1. The School for the Work (9 days in residence)

2. Turnaround House (28 days in residence)

3. Other 1-5 day in-person events, and several 1-3 hour online telecasts

4. The Helpline where you can call in for free and do The Work with a facilitator.

5. The Institute for The Work with its many programs for deepening The Work and becoming a facilitator of The Work (or not). Participating in The School for The Work is a prerequisite for this.

6. Private sessions and workshops with over 160 certified facilitators of The Work around the world.

I Like to Make The Work a Steady Practice

And that’s how I design my programs. Most of my programs are ongoing programs. For example, Slow-Cook Inquiry has been going for about three and a half years continually.

I am now considering adding other new programs that would also support an ongoing practice of The Work in different ways.

Here Are Some Ideas I’m Considering

1. An ongoing partner pairing program. This would allow you to pair up each month with someone who would like to do The Work regularly by phone or Skype.

2. Downloadable templates for doing The Work in any word processor program. Similar to what we use in the Inquiry Circle forum. This is to support doing The Work on your own in written form.

3. A monthly “Support Call” and a “Support Forum” where you can ask questions if you get stuck doing your work.

These Are Still Just Ideas

I would like to hear your input. Do any of the ideas I just proposed appeal to you? Would any of these programs be helpful to you in your work? And is there anything I missed?

I’m not promising I’ll do any of these, but if there is enough interest, then I’d love to explore serving you in these new ways. It’s up to you. Let me know your thoughts.

Have a great weekend,
Todd
