They Shouldn’t Nickel-And-Dime Me

One of my pet peeves is walking into a hotel only to find out that I have to pay extra for internet use and parking. Ironically, the more expensive hotels tend to do this more than the budget hotels. I call it nickel-and-dimeing. And I hate it. Airlines make me react the same way when they make me pay for checking my baggage.

Can you find a time when you thought someone was nickel-and-dimeing you? Let’s work this concept all together this week in the comment section below.

Here’s How It Works

1. Inquiry Circle.
2. You will get an email with the next step of inquiry every day (five days a week).
3. You click on the link in the email to come back here to the blog.
4. You post your answers to the question on the blog.
5. You read and get inspiration from what others have posted.
6. This will continue until we have thoroughly worked the stressful concept. Then we’ll start with a new concept for the next week.
7. Feel free to use an initial or a pseudonym if you prefer to be anonymous.

Here Is This Week’s Schedule

Friday, June 22, 2012: Describe a situation in one sentence where you thought, “They shouldn’t nickel and dime me.” And answer 1. “Is it true?” and 2. “Can you absolutely know it’s true?”
Monday, June 25, 2012: “How do you react when you believe the thought, ‘They shouldn’t nickel-and-dime me’?”
Tuesday, June 26, 2012: “Who would you be without that thought, ‘They shouldn’t nickel-and-dime me’?”
Wednesday, June 27, 2012: First Turnaround: “I shouldn’t nickel-and-dime me.”
Thursday, June 28, 2012: Second Turnaround: “I shouldn’t nickel-and-dime them.”
Friday, June 29, 2012: Third Turnaround: “They should nickel-and-dime me.”
