This poor guy didn’t have dandelion insurance.
But there’s also no such thing as “acts of God” insurance. Or war insurance. Or loss of reputation insurance. Or anger insurance.
I’m sure the insurance companies have thought about them. But they couldn’t make a profit from them. Acts of God and war are too costly to repair. Reputations are too easily damaged. And anger is too easily ignited.
Which means, in essence, that we are never fully covered.
Pretty scary if insurance is important to you.
That’s why insurance salesmen can sell us so many insurance policies. They even sell us umbrella policies to cover what the other policies don’t cover.
