Does Your Insurance Plan Cover You Completely?

This poor guy didn’t have dandelion insurance.

Of Course There’s No Such Thing as Dandelion Insurance

But there’s also no such thing as “acts of God” insurance. Or war insurance. Or loss of reputation insurance. Or anger insurance.

I’m sure the insurance companies have thought about them. But they couldn’t make a profit from them. Acts of God and war are too costly to repair. Reputations are too easily damaged. And anger is too easily ignited.

But We Still Suffer from These Things

Which means, in essence, that we are never fully covered.

Pretty scary if insurance is important to you.

That’s why insurance salesmen can sell us so many insurance policies. They even sell us umbrella policies to cover what the other policies don’t cover.

But it only goes so far.

In the End You Have to Cover Yourself

And that’s what The Work of Byron Katie is all about.

The Work gives you an insurance policy that is not dependent on insurance agencies. It opens a door to find peace even when things go bad.

See The Work in action by attending Open Sessions with me every week.

“A lover of what is looks forward to everything: life, death, disease, loss, earthquakes, bombs, anything the mind might be tempted to call ‘bad.’ Life will bring us everything we need, to show us what we haven’t undone yet. Nothing outside ourselves can make us suffer.” Byron Katie, Question Your Thinking, Change the World
