A Robin Teaches Advaita (Non-Duality)

This spring a robin took up battle flying at our window. Over and over for hours and days this robin kept flying at our window. Pecking at it, clawing it. It even managed to draw blood during this fierce battle with our window. It sounds ridiculous. And it is. But for this bird, it was the fight of a lifetime. Expectation Management With The Work

It’s natural to have high expectations. That’s what initially motivates me to do anything. I get an image in my mind of something nice, something ideal, and I start moving towards it. Keeping that picture in my mind keeps me moving in that direction. This is a good thing. But the problem starts when I get attached to the image in my mind.
