Welcome to our first session of Blog Popcorn! This is where we will begin the inquiry live at 4:00 PM Pacific Time, on Thursday, March 8, 2012.
Blog Popcorn is a way of doing The Work together as a group, right here on the blog. If you are new to The Work, you can learn about it on this article, or on Byron Katie’s official website for The Work.
Before we get started, please find a specific person, and a specific time and place, where that person didn’t keep a promise. It should be a time when it was stressful for you.
It was when an employer didn’t pay me what he had agreed to pay. That will be my reference as we go through The Work together. All my answers to the questions will come from that specific incident.
Before we start, make sure you have found a very specific time when someone didn’t keep a promise. And then use that specific time as your reference point for answering all the questions of The Work below.
And write down your specific stressful situation for “He didn’t keep his promise.” It could also be “She didn’t keep her promise.” Write down the scenario in one sentence in the comments below. When specifically did it happen?
